Metal machining processes for any requirement
Just because we machine aircraft and racecar components doesn’t mean that your general machining requirements are too small. We work across all metals and alloys, including: aluminium, magnesium, stainless steel, galvinised steel, copper, cast iron, nickel, bronze, titanium and zinc.
We ask and answer industry specific questions about every job we do:
- What alloy or metal should be used?
- What are the necessary fabrication steps?
- At what times and temperatures should the alloy be heat-treated?
- What are the appropriate surface-finish operations?
- What is the predicted fatigue life of the component?
- Do mechanical tests confirm strength and fatigue life requirements?
Regular machining or one-off projects
As with all of our machine processing work, the Wilson Engineering 24 hour emergency service is available for general machining. We are also available to help you out with regular machining work and ongoing contracts.
